Ask a westerner to help with Family Planning and the first thing they do is build a  clinic and  start distributing  expensive western medications.

Ujamaa believes research should guide all our interventions. We have published 6 academic papers with Stanford and Johns Hopkins, including two large RCT's,  each w/ over 10,000 participants.

Helping woman overcome Domestic Violence (IPV) starts with economic empowerment and breaking the isolation. Our support group/microloan group model decreases IPV by over 70%.
       

Ujamaa implements the No Means No Worldwide Program in Kenya and our skills based training has enabled over 350,000 girls to prevent being raped.
